Opened in 1908, Beit Hall is a Grade II-listed building offering a beautiful historic setting in the heart of Central London.
Stay next door to the Royal Albert Hall, one of the United Kingdom’s most cherished cultural gems and walk to many alluring sights including Hyde Park, Marble Arch and The Science, Natural History and V&A Museums.
Due to refurbishment works, Beit Hall will not be open for bookings in summer 2025.
Prince’s Gardens, a short walk away, will be open as normal.

Reception is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Luggage storage: Luggage can be left in reception before check in and after check out for up to 12 hours. Please note that luggage is not stored in a locked room.
Public transport
The nearest London Underground (tube) stations are South Kensington and Gloucester Road, each a 10-minute walk away. From here, you can take the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines to anywhere in London. Our reception team can provide you and your group with maps of Central London and the Underground.
From Heathrow Airport
Journey time: 50 minutes
Take the Heathrow Express, which runs every 15 minutes to Paddington mainline station. Change to the Underground and take the Circle line to South Kensington. Alternatively, you can take the Piccadilly line directly from Heathrow Airport to South Kensington.
From London City Airport
Journey time: 40 minutes
Take the DLR to Canning Town then change to the Underground and take the Jubilee line. At Green Park change to the Piccadilly line to South Kensington station.
From Gatwick Airport
Journey time: 50 minutes
Take the Gatwick Express, which runs approximately every 15 minutes, to Victoria mainline station. Change to the Underground and take the District or Circle lines to South Kensington.
From Stansted Airport
Journey time: 90 minutes
Take the Stansted Express, which runs approximately every 15 minutes, to Liverpool Street mainline station. Change to the Underground and take the Circle line to South Kensington.
By car
Parking on campus is extremely limited and must be pre-booked at least seven days in advance, subject to availability. The cost is £3.00 per hour or £22.00 overnight. Entry is via Exhibition Road, SW7 2BX. To book, please email car.park@imperial.ac.uk and provide:
- the car make and model;
- arrival and departure date.
Unfortunately, camper vans and mini buses are not able to park on site.
Parking in the streets around Beit Hall is on a pay and display basis for limited periods only.
By coach
Coaches can drop off and pick up guests in front of Beit Hall’s main entrance on Prince Consort Road. The maximum standing time is 20 minutes.
There is no coach parking available on campus. The nearest coach park is Euro Car Parks in Hyde Park, W2 4QH.

The location is great for visiting the natural History museum, science museum and art museum. There is a pub open with some food. Bus stop is just out front. Price was great for this location.
